This bold, tangy, one-of-a-kind sauce is as delicious as New Orleans cuisine gets. It's a spicy, savory combination with a misleading name - this is not Texas or Kansas City or Carolina barbecue. Real butter is spiked with black pepper, citrus and Worcestershire for a stand-out dish found on the menu at classic restaurants from Pascal's Manale to Commander's Palace.

Take shrimp and grits to a new level. Just as great over pasta and rice or plated with a side of crusty bread.

Bring 2-3 qts of water to a boil over high heat.

Add sealed, frozen pouch and cook for 7 minutes, flipping 2-3 times throughout.

Remove from water and let rest 2 minutes. Handle carefully, it’s HOT!

For best results, gently massage pouch to separate shrimp before serving.

Set water temperature to 165F. Cook frozen pouch for 10 minutes.

The Perfect Topping

I bought four various flavors for my brother as a gift. He lives in Pennsylvania and misses our Louisiana cooking. The first one he tried was the Louisiana Boil Cajun Shrimp. He baked a large piece of cod, seasoned with his own seasonings, then topped the cod with the Louisiana Boil Cajun Shrimp. He and his wife loved it! He is anxious to try the other three flavors I ordered for him, and I am anxious to see what combinations he comes with!

Excellent product

We've made several things with different flavors of Prime Shrimp. The latest was a light sauce pasta using only Garlic Herb Prime Shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and frozen sweet green peas. It was such a hit, we had to make a second batch to have a third portion. :) We've also made poboys with the New Orleans Style BBQ - and the juice is especially fantastic for dipping bread.

All varieties of Prime Shrimp Cook-In-Bag are made with 31/40 count, peeled and deveined shrimp.

This is the size commonly used in your favorite dishes at restaurants and is the most popular size sold at many grocery stores.

This means you can expect approximately 16 - 20 shrimp per pack for 8 - 10 shrimp per serving.

We source farm-raised shrimp from only the top producers in Ecuador, where less-intensive farming methods and advanced harvest and production technology make their aquaculture industry the most sustainable of its kind.

Every step of production, from peeling to packing, is done in our state of the art, BAP-certified facility located just outside New Orleans.

Advanced automation (and a sense of pride in what we do) protects shrimp from abuse, adulteration and mishandling.

Our packs contain only premium shrimp and gourmet ingredients, which make our offering a stronger value and more versatile option than "all-in-one" dinner packs.

All products are shipped via UPS from our facility in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Orders are protected with dry ice and should arrive fully frozen.

Because our products are highly perishable and we want them to arrive in perfect condition, we require 1-3 business days to process orders and confirm all details of each shipment before sending them off.

We only ship Monday through Thursday to ensure orders are not in transit over the weekend.
